Seven Springs Vineyard is a premium wine producer, situated on the R320 Hemel en Aarde Valley road, between the seaside town of Hermanus and Caledon, in the picturesque Western Cape, South Africa. The vineyard nestles between Shaws Mountain to the north and the Teslaarsdal Mountain Range to the south, with Walker Bay and the Atlantic Ocean beyond these mountains. It is this oceanic influence, coupled with our shale derived soils, known locally as Bokkeveld Shale, that gives our vines the potential to produce exceptional grapes from both north and south-facing vineyards.

Product Features

• True to our style the Seven Springs Unoaked Chardonnay remains a light wine with clean lines and pure fruit flavours with a typical Overberg minerality.
• As an unoaked Chardonnay this is quite an aromatic wine, showing floral notes of frangipani, sweet alyssum and even orange blossoms and surprisingly a hint of orange sponge cake.
• A dynamic palette with a grippy apple acidity and wet pebble minerality.
• Serve slightly chilled and pair with ceviche or sushi.
• It also stands up to lightly spicy dishes or soups and is great with chicken salad and the main fish dish.
