About
The farm originally named Groenerivier was established in 1693. Our elegant Cape Dutch homestead and historic cellar date back to 1786 with a winemaking history of over 200 years. Webersburg is situated on the sloped of of the Helderberg Mountain and enjoys the benefits of cool sea breezes with exceptional decomposed granite soils.

2x Cabernet Sauvignon 2016
- A selection of French Oak Barrels were chosen for their complexity, aromatics and fruit compatibility.
- This wine spent 22 months in 300 litre French oak barrels of which 75% was new the rest were divided into 2nd and 3rd fill French oak barrels.
- The wine was then bottle matured for 1-2 years before release.
- Attractive deep colour and intensity reflecting the quality of the 2016 vintage.
- Aromas of red plum and dark berry fruit with earthy notes. There are also hints of blueberry and mulberry that adds to the complexity of this wine.
- Soft and rounded tannins with fine oak nuances with a vibrant finish.
- A true expression of our exceptional Helderberg Terroir.
- Enjoy with Filet Mignon.
- Alcohol by Volume: 13.5%
2x Cabernet Sauvignon 2017
- A selection of French Oak Barrels were chosen for their complexity, aromatics and fruit compatibility.
- This wine spent 22 months in 300 litre French oak barrels of which 75% was new the rest were divided into 2nd and 3rd fill French oak barrels.
- The wine was then bottle matured for 1-2 years before release.
- Deep ruby garnet in colour.
- The wine has a spicy nose with ripe red berry fruit.
- Medium palate with leather and red fruit spice and a rhubarb tartness through onto the finish.
- Layered and refined describes this smooth and elegant vintage.
- Alcohol by Volume: 14%
2x Bastiaan Blend 2018
- A selection of French Oak Barrels were chosen for their complexity, aromatics and fruit compatibility.
- This wine spent 24 months in 300 litre French Oak barrels of which 70% was new the rest were divided into 2nd and 3rd Fill French Oak Barrels
- We use a harmony of Cabernet Sauvignon (46%), Merlot (39%) and Petit Verdot (15%) grapes that makes up our Webersburg blend.
- Ruby garnet in colour. The wine shows nuances of tea-leaf and mint on a spicy nose.
- Palate is medium and smooth with a leathery note followed through onto a juicy red berry finish.
- The wine is well developed, but still youthful and very elegant. The finish is juicy and smooth with lingering flavours red berry bliss.
- This wine pais easily with lamb or poultry.
- Alcohol by Volume: 14%
