The artisan winery offers an array of handcrafted wines. Winemaker, Reino Thiart, has been with Bottega Family Wine for many years, creating one of the broadest spectrums of wines in the valley. Whalehaven Wines is the third oldest wine producer in the Hemel-en-Aarde region and is one of the first stops for exceptional Merlot. The wines are hand-crafted to celebrate each harvest and to reflect the particular nuances of each varietal.

- Award: Double Gold Gilbert & Gaillard.
- This cool-climate Sauvignon Blanc from Upper Hemel-en-Aarde Valley vineyards combines tropical, saline and mineral notes giving a true sense of place.
- Intense, yellow passionfruit and guava notes are derived from riper grapes exposed to late afternoon sun, while more shady vineyard rows produce berries with flinty aromas and hints of apricot blossoms and white pear.
- Serve chilled for maximum enjoyment with seafood.

1x Unwooded Viognier 2020
- Round, rich and refreshing.
- Light pale straw in colour with a lime tinge.
- Perfumed aromas of peach blossoms and dried fig are followed by flavours and textures of green melon, white pear, nectarine and honeysuckle.
- This unwooded Viognier has a lush, pleasing texture and a long, lingering finish.
