• Medium Roast
• Slow Extraction. In comparison to Aluminium Nespresso capsules, our Platō pods are different. Here are some reasons why:
  • Each capsule contains 6.0g of freshly roasted coffee, compared to the 5.4g you would find in a Nespresso(r) capsule. This increase in dosage slows down the extraction rate but ensures maximum flavour in your cup!
  • Our compostable lids are made from a vegetable fibre material, which also slows down the flow rate of extraction. This slower rate, however, allows for an even extraction of coffee, resulting in a better-balanced cup. The above means that when using a Platō Pod, an Espresso shot (40ml) should take 15-20s to pour, and a Lungo shot (110ml) should take between 50-60s to pour.
