Thai Red Prawn Curry with Butternut and Cherry Tomatoes

  • Description: A delicious curry that packs a punch- spicy, fragrant, creamy yet still subtle. Filled with plump poached prawns, butternut cubes and cherry tomatoes that burst in your mouth as you eat them.
  • Suggested Serving: Serve with fluffy basmati rice or Asian noodles of your choice.

Aubergine Parmigiana

We use a mixture of mushrooms and a porcini flavoured stock to create a rich and creamy risotto dish, adding Parmegiano to give it that authentic Italian flavour

Fragrant Tomato-based Kingklip Curry

  • Description: This is an aromatic tomato-based fish curry with fragrant spices and a deep, dark rich sauce. Poached pieces of kingklip in a thick tomato and coconut sauce, flavoured with cumin, coriander, turmeric and ginger

  • Ingredients: Kingklip, tomato, tinned tomatoes, coconut, onions, garlic, coriander, chilli, mustard seeds, black pepper, fennel seeds, bay leaves, turmeric, cardamom, cloves, cinnamon, fenugreek, vegan ghee, curry leaves, garam masala.

Cape Malay Chickpea and Lentil Dahl

  • Description:  Lentils and chickpeas in slow-cooked in curry spices. A mild creamy Malay style curry with lentils & chickpeas. Great as a vegetarian main, or as a side dish. A beautiful blend of crackled spices and a tomato-based sauce
  • Serving Suggestions: Serve with a dollop of yoghurt and garnish with coriander. If serving as aside, goes really well with our veg curry and our fish curry.

Indian Aubergine, Red pepper and Butter Bean Curry

  • Description: Bursting with flavour, this vegetable curry is guilt-free, nutritious and delicious, filled with butter beans, red peppers and aubergine.
  • Serving Suggestions: Serve with basmati rice side. Also goes well with a side of chickpea and lentil dahl.

Beef Bourgignon

Classic Seafood Pie

  • Description: This is a classic dish with pieces of salmon and a selection of fresh white fish delicately poached in herbed milk, which is then used to make a bechamel sauce. This is topped with buttery mash and baked in the oven.

Grandma’s Chicken Soup

  • Description: Whole chickens cooked with love- the age-old Jewish tradition. This is one recipe we do not mess with! Strained to give a clear, flavourful broth with pulled, soft chicken.
  • Ingredients: Chicken, beef shin, pumpkin, carrots, onions, chicken stock, turnip, parsley, leeks.

  • Serving Suggestions: Kneidlach or a slice of buttery toast  

Thai Roast Tomato, Red Pepper Coconut Soup

  • Description: One of our absolute all-time favourite soups. Full of flavour, with a very mild bite. It can be served warm or even cool for a daytime lunch meal.
  • Dietary: Vegan
  • Ingredients: Tomatoes, sweet potatoes, red pepper, lemongrass, garlic, onion, chilli, ginger, coriander, coconut cream, vegetable stock, coriander, basil, brown sugar, limes.
  • Serving Suggestions: Flatbreads or toast

Fragrant Coconut Broth with Miso Spring Onion Hake Balls

  • Description: A wonderfully subtle coconut broth with the faintest hint of green chilli, filled with miso, spring onion and sesame hake balls poached in the liquid as well as sweetcorn, mange tout and mushrooms.
  • Ingredients: Hake, spring onions, garlic, soy sauce, miso, coriander, sesame seeds, ginger, tamarind paste, fish sauce, shrimp paste, coconut cream, fish stock, palm sugar, lemongrass, mushrooms, sweet corn, mange tout, chilli, lime leaves, lime

Durban Lamb Curry with Potatoes

  • Description: A traditional Indian- style lamb curry on the bone, cooked for hours until tender. Using simple, quality ingredients, we haven’t messed with this recipe and love the flavours that develop over hours of cooking.
  • Allergens: None.
  • Ingredients: Lamb, Indian style tomatoes, fruit chutney, beef stock, onions, potatoes, curry powder, garlic, ginger and turmeric, peas
  • Serving Suggestion: Serve with basmati rice and your favourite sambal.

Moroccan Harissa Baked Chicken

  • Description:  Free-range chicken thighs in a warm red harissa sauce that has flavour and depth but without the burn.  Harissa is a spicy, fragrant and aromatic paste made from a blend of chilli, paprika, garlic, rose petals, cumin, and other spices. They give this dish flavour, not heat. A lovely warming tagine-inspired dish that will have you feeling warm, happy and satiated.  
  • Ingredients: Chicken, Pesto Princess harissa paste, vegetable oil, onion, garlic, cinnamon, cumin, ginger, turmeric, chilli flakes, chicken stock, dried apricots, tomatoes, chickpeas, mint, parsley, salt and pepper, almonds.

  • Serving Suggestion: Serve with our baked rice or simple couscous. Delicious with a dollop of yoghurt and fresh coriander.  

Slow-cooked Lamb with White Beans and Rosemary

  • Description: This meal stretches far and is always a crowd-pleaser. Lamb shoulder slow-cooked for 4 hours and pulled apart in a fragrant and delicious sauce, with white beans, spinach and rosemary.
  • Serving Suggestions: This dish pairs perfectly with buttery mashed potato side.
