Product Features
2 x La Cave Cabernet Sauvignon 2019
- Full malolactic fermentation was allowed in new French barrels after which the wine was racked to the same barrels and matured for 18 months.
- Concentrated red fruits and tomato cocktail aromas, with subtle scents of graphite.
- The tannins are beautifully integrated, and the palate is soft and silky, with plush red fruit flavours and some tertiary notes due to the wine’s age.
- Vibrant flavours of blackcurrants and spice on the long, dry finish.
- Enjoy with roast beef.

2 x La Cave Chenin Blanc 2021
- Awards: SA Wine Index Grand Gold, 4 Star Platter, Double Gold Veritas
- Medium gold hue, with charming aromas of yellow apples, saffron, baked custard, quince and vanilla on the nose.
- There is a fleshy texture on the mid-palate with a rounded mouthfeel, and the oak is in perfect balance with the sleek acidity.
- Intense flavours of peaches and ripe citrus, while the finish has a pithy edge and lengthy notes of dried apricots.
- This wine is beautifully poised and has the depth, structure and fruit purity to facilitate further ageing.
- Enjoy with rich & creamy poultry dishes, cream-based pasta, spicy Asian cuisine, or even crispy pork belly.

1 x La Cave Pinotage 2020
- Awards: Top 20 in the ABSA Top 10 Pinotage, 4.5 Star Platter, 90 Points International Wine & Spirits Competition, Double Gold Veritas, General Smuts Trophy South African Young Wine Show.
- Full malolactic fermentation was allowed in new French barrels after which the wine was racked to the same barrels and aged and matured for 18 months.
- Soft blueberry and cherry notes are supported by hints of spice and vanilla pod showing an excellent balance between oak and fruit.
- On the palate, the wine is rounded and velvety and shows finesse.
- The spicy vanilla and oaky notes follow through on the palate, giving weight to the flavour profile which is refined by raspberry and plum notes.
- Enjoy with lamb.

1 x La Cave Shiraz 2019
- Awards: 4 Star Platter, Silver Outstanding Veritas.
- After malolactic fermentation, the wine was racked into French oak barrels, and aged for roughly 18 months.
- Rich bramble aromas support hints of black peppercorns, cumin, and nutmeg on the nose of this deep purple wine.
- Crushed coriander and wood spice make for a fragrant and flavoursome palate.
- The wine is full-bodied with bold tannins and fleshy, lingering dark fruit flavours.
- Enjoy with spicy lamb dishes.
