Dating back to only 1962, Du Toitskloof Wines is a young, forward-thinking and innovative winery that quickly established its name as a household wine brand. Beloved for their Fairtrade Initiative and projects, the winery has been an accredited Fairtrade producer for 15 years and continue to support and sustain social development programmes that have gone on to become some of the most successful in the world. 2x Pinotage 2021

  • After initial fermentation, the wine undergoes malolactic fermentation and is matured for 8 months using a mixture of barrels and staves.
  • Dark ruby red in colour.
  • This wine offers aromas of ripe plums, cherries, chocolate, and a slight scent of dried banana, all wrapped in sweet, oaky vanilla.
  • Dry, supple tannins add a silky mouth-feel of black cherries.
  • Medium to full-bodied wine.
  • Enjoy with various heavier red meat dishes like leg of lamb, venison and game meat.

  • Award: 90 Points International Wine & Spirits Competition.
  • Previous vintage awards: Double Gold Michelangelo, Gold Gilbert & Gaillard.
  • The wine holds a complex range of flavours with gooseberry, pear and litchi aromas on the nose with a hint of asparagus.
  • Beautifully balanced, the palate is smooth with a lingering, crisp finish.
  • Enjoy chilled on its own or served with pasta, seafood, selection of cold meats, chicken and pork.
