About
Launched by Zenmari Opperman as a passion project. Great care is taken when sourcing from some of South Africa's best producers. The Grenache originates from the Swartland and Cinsault from Piekenierskloof.
Product Features
- Colour: Bright ruby red with a vibrant hue.
- Tasting notes: Notes of pomegranate, red berries, and spicy aromas. The initial senses on the nose are then backed by a fruit-driven palate that is juicy, lingers on and on with a fine tannin integration, and a good acidity that leaves a lasting impression.
- For optimum enjoyment, we recommend that you chill the wine slightly for at least an hour in your fridge. The Grenache & Cinsault blend is an excellent wine for warm South African summer days, early evening sundowners, and all-around great wine to impress your friends around the braai.
- The light nature of the wine makes it easy to pair with all kinds of food: here are some of our favourite tried combinations, Steak Tartare, Kabeljou ceviche, and Asian pork short rib with coleslaw.
