About the winery

Three remarkable Stellenbosch Families joined forces in 2012 to celebrate the fact that good wine is a constant reminder that God loves us and loves to see us happy.

Inspired by a common desire to make wine as an act of worship, the team produces Stellenbosch Family Wines from grapes grown on three family farms in the iconic Stellenbosch region of South Africa – Nooitgedacht, Sonop and Geluksoord. They are lovingly nurtured by a father and son team. Because it’s all about family, about heritage, about love.

The result is seven wines that are so sublime, they are almost… Divine.

The eye-catching label that bears a Fenghuang, the Phoenix of the East, is in itself a heavenly message that speaks of resurrection life and renewal. Each label is further embellished by one of seven prophetic paintings, depicting the seven Spirits of God and representing the seven different colours of the rainbow. The paintings formed part of an exhibition, “The Spirit”, by Michelle-Lize van Wyk.

An easy to drink, yet fascinatingly complex white. Lightly scented with Stellenbosch oak, our Chardonnay captivates with velvety vanilla and citrus notes, lovingly nurtured by the wine-masters of Stellenbosch Family Wines.
