Boschendal (Dutch for bush and dale) is one of the oldest Wine Estates in South Africa and is located between Franschhoek and Stellenbosch.This Iconic wine farm is nestled in one of the most picturesque valleys in the Cape Winelands. With a winemaking tradition spanning over 330 years, Boschendal Wine Estate offers a veritable treat for wine lovers everywhere.

Brut Non-Vintage

  • Awards: Gold Amorim Cap Classique, Double Gold (93 Points) Gilbert & Gaillard, 90 Points Tim Atkin.
  • A minimum of 12 months maturation on the lees in the bottle allowed for extra complexity and character before release.
  • Pale gold with a flourish of delicate bubbles and enticing lemon cream and almond biscotti precede lovely layers of citrus and a finish with appealing length and freshness.
  • Maturation on the lees provides a well-rounded, creamy mouth-feel with mouthwatering minerality, good balance and a seamless finish. 
  • Enjoy well-chilled on its own or as the perfect partner for panko-crusted prawns with lemon-garlic aioli, gourmet mac and cheese with parmesan and pancetta or fresh oysters.
  • Varietals: 56% Chardonnay, 44% Pinot Noir
  • Alcohol by Volume: 12%

Brut Rosé Non-Vintage

  • Awards: Double Gold (93 Points) Gilbert & Gaillard, 91 Points Tim Atkin.
  • The wine was given 12 months on the lees which allowed it to grow in complexity, adding depth and succulent defined fruit 
  • Pinotage, the offspring of Pinot Noir, was carefully selected to complement the elegant structure of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay with luscious fruit.
  • This Brut Rosé captivates with its delicate pale pink colour and red fruit aromas which further delight the palate with hints of strawberry, raspberry and cherry flavours. 
  • Indulgent enjoyed on its own or with an eclectic range of delicious dishes like smoked salmon salads, brie and prosciutto pizza or creamy choux éclairs for a sweet indulgence.
  • Varietals: 72% Pinot Noir, 18% Chardonnay, 10% Pinotage.

Dreams are weird.

Anyhoo, last night we had a dream where we featured half-off tickets to see the Red Hot Chili Peppers live at the Department of Home Affairs. They weren't even performing. They just worked there. Crazy, huh?
