Mellow and aged. Rested for 6 - 8 months in old brandy, American oak barrels that give it a smooth mouthfeel with notes of caramel and chocolate. Leonista 100% Karoo Agave Spirit is a local agave spirit (Tequila/Mezcal) made from the agave that grows in the Karoo. It is the only agave spirit in the country made using the traditional method with smoke and fire hence that delicious smokey flavour.
