• Nose: Hanging out in Caribbean rum casks gives this Smokehead a jolt of immense smoke and fiery peat, followed by soothing citrus and tropical fruits. And is that marshmallow and bacon in there...?
• Palate: Face down a fearlessly rich and peaty punch, thick oils and bracing sea spray, tempered with dried spices, banana and dark wood.
• Finish: The safety of dry land is in sight. Notes of caramel and cinnamon, nutmeg, and vanilla, add a delicate contrast to the lingering smokiness.
