Following Amber Beverage Group’s acquisition of Walsh Whiskey, the Irish producer rebranded The Irishman in early 2022. Previously known as Founder’s Reserve, The Harvest is said to celebrate the role of the farming community in whiskey making. Crafted from a blend of 70% single malt and 30% single pot still whiskey, all made with Irish barley, triple distilled and matured in American oak ex-bourbon barrels. 

McConnell’s was the name that delighted whiskey-lovers around the world for over 150 years. Now the Legend is Reborn. Pride in Belfast and its whisky heritage is our reason for being. The Irish whiskey industry declined in the 1800s. However, here in Belfast McConnell’s endured – outlasting many others. Now that name is back, heralding the return of the city’s illustrious distilling heritage. McConnell’s is a blend of select malt and grain whiskies, matured in ex-bourbon oak barrels, which add a subtle sweetness and a light woody char to the finish.
