About

Our distillery can be found quietly nestled in the Cradle of Humankind, a World Heritage Site in South Africa. The area is also affectionately known as Maropeng which means “returning to the place of origin” in Setswana and is a location of great archaeological significanceAs the discovery site of some of the oldest human fossils on the planet, it is the perfect location to craft a gin that is authentic, world-class and proudly South African. The surroundings are imbued with a rich history, as are our botanicals which we have expertly selected for you to enjoy in our ageless OriGin range.

Product Features

Himalayan Cirus

The origins of the Citrus genus have been traced as far back as 1200 BC , where it was found in the foothills of the Himalayas. Our Himalayan Citrus variety is blended with traditional juniper botanicals and carefully balanced with citrus zest and passion fruit, for a fresh burst of flavour in every sip.

Rose Gold

From its mythological creation by the Greek goddess Aphrodite to the ethereal impressionism of Monet and Renoir, the Rose has inspired scenes of passion and beauty throughout the ages. Rose Gold combines an elegant blend of classic gin botanicals such as juniper berries, coriander, and rosemary, with rosehip and infused with refreshing Rose Petal Ginger.

Viking Elderflower

One of the earliest botanicals, originally used by the English and once believed to have grown only on sites of Viking battlefields. Viking Elderflower is a floral & balanced classic gin infused with botanicals including juniper and coriander combined with hints of the Elderflower as its delectable high note.
