It all started by creating an all-glass distillation straight-out of a lab set-up and sourcing the best ingredients from around the globe. From the juniper berries that give the gin a perfect base to the botanicals that tease the nose and satisfy the palette. It took months to develop the formulas and after 15 test batches and numerous taste tests they settled on a process that is designed to treat every single part of the recipe with the respect, it deserves to unlock the best possible aromas and flavours – a process that had created something unique and worthy of the Ginologist scientific seal of quality. 

Product Features

Floral

• Tasting Notes: An aromatic bouquet accentuated by rose geranium and orange blossom so soft and playful that it comes with a license to thrill.
• Nose: A fragrant gin, rose geranium comes through strongly on the nose and is underpinned by pollen notes from the Orange Blossom.
• Palate: This new style gin tantalises the taste buds with its rose geranium-led floral infusion with a long lingering flavour which finishes elegantly with a soft dryness as the orange blossom comes through. The floral medley gives the Floral gin a perceived sweetness, making it ideal for those who prefer to serve gin with lite tonics or soda water.

Orient

• Tasting Notes: Ginologist Orient is a masterful blend of spices and traditional Oriental flavours to create an intricately warm London Dry Gin that is to be savoured and enjoyed.
• Nose: Strong notes of Juniper and liquorice are immediately distinguishable with softer notes of orange and Honeybush to round out the nose.
• Palate: The combination of spices work together to create a light, warm and refreshing dry gin. The flavours are balanced beautifully to emphasize the strong juniper and notes of fennel, rooibos and Honeybush

Citrus

• Tasting Notes: Lime, Grapefruit and a hint of lemon combine to create the most delightfully refreshing gin imaginable.
• Nose: Clean Citrus notes assail the nose, with lime and grapefruit both clearly distinguishable.
• Palate: A purist take on a citrus gin with clean, crisp, citrus flavours taking centre stage in what is an incredibly refreshing taste. Fresh citrus flavours linger on the tongue, with lime and grapefruit once again clearly distinguishable long after the last drop is gone
