Founded in 1753, Hampden Estate has been producing rum for nearly three centuries in Jamaica’s Trelawny Parish, a region often referred to as the grand cru of Jamaican rum.
In 2009, Hampden Estate began aging its Pure Single Rums, crafted using time-honored, partly secret methods dating back to the 18th century. Known for their high ester content and bold aromatic profile, these rums undergo a long, complex fermentation process. This expression is aged 8 years in Jamaica’s tropical climate, equal to nearly 25 years in Europe, making it ideal for sipping or refined cocktails.
