Released in 2014, this is the opening expression in the Auchentoshan core range. A triple-distilled, Lowland single malt matured exclusively in first-fill, ex-bourbon American oak casks. From the Auchentoshan distillery in the Scottish Lowlands comes a triple distilled single malt Scotch whisky aged entirely in first-fill American oak casks. A light, bright whisky with plenty of vanilla sweetness at its center, great as an aperitif dram. Like all Auchentoshan, American Oak is a really versatile Single Malt. Drink it with ale, neat, over ice or in a classic whisky cocktail.

Product Features

• Nose: Sweet with vanilla, coconut and lemon along with toffee and milk chocolate. Wafts of grassy air and clotted cream.
• Palate: Bounty bars, more citrus peels and peaches. A little bit buttery, with golden barley and oak spice developing on the mid-palate.
• Finish: Lasting notes of grapefruit, spicy oak and toffee.
