- A blend of Cabernet, Malbec and Petit Verdot, all grown on the Estate
- The Cabernet Sauvignon was fermented in stainless steel with 3-4 pump-overs daily. The Malbec and Petit Verdot were fermented in small open-top vessels with manual punch-downs 3-5 times daily
- Maturation took place in 225L French oak barriques for 22 months (approximately 35% first fill)
- Dark, intense ruby colour while the nose shows complex smokey and savoury notes, both dark and red fruits, vanilla, dark chocolate and liquorice
- Notes of fresh plum, black forest cake and cedar spice. The wine shows a delicate mid-palate with a soft, rounded tannin that complements a well-balanced acidity
- Pairs well with red meat dishes, and hearty stews
