1x Neil Ellis Groenekloof Sauvignon Blanc 2024

• Awards: 4.5 Star Platter, 92 Points Tim Atkin. 
• Groenekloof is situated near Darling on the West Coast and consists of a series of hills running parallel to the ocean.
• The wine was left on the lees for 3 months before blending and bottling.
• Bright straw-like colour with an attractive green tint. 
• Bright tropical and citrus aromatics, with subtle undertones of freshly cut grass. 
• The palate is elegant and poised, refined minerality, textured, and a long flavoursome finish.

• The wine was matured on the lees for 5 months in the stainless-steel tanks, before it was stabilised and bottled.
• This wine is bright with a light straw-like appearance highlighted by a light green hue.
• Initial aromas of lemongrass and lime lead to bolder aromas of the more tropical spectrum, such as gooseberry and white peach. 
• The nose exudes elegance with a final bouquet of blackcurrant, citrus, and elderflower, as you prepare to take your first sip.
• The concentrated aromatics carry effortlessly to the palate, where they integrate with a vibrant acidity and textured mouthfeel. 
• The palate is beautifully refined and elegant with an excellent fruit concentration and long-lasting freshness.

• This is a new vintage that has not been rated yet.

• Made without the influence of oak, the wine is aged on its lees for 2-3 months for further palate weight and complexity to balance out the wine's natural acidity.
• The intrinsic Sauvignon Blanc characteristics of tropical fruits, melon and gooseberry, with underlying tones of pineapple and passion fruit sustained on a fresh, crisp and well-balanced palate with prodigious length.
• Aging potential of 1-3 years from vintage.
