Situated near Stellenbosch, Spier is one of South Africa’s oldest wine farms with a recorded winemaking history dating back to 1692. While rooted in this heritage, we've got a vibrant and conscious energy, and are home to one of the largest collections of contemporary South African art.

- After fermentation, 20% of the wine was matured in French oak barrels for 8 to 10 months.
- The remaining 80% was matured in stainless steel tanks with French oak staves to complement the wine’s flavour profile and length.
