In 2018, Francois established the Bezuidenhout Family Wine portfolio from which he started the Leenders Wine brand to associate the Bezuidenhout family history and the wines’ ties to South African history. Francois always dreamt of producing wines that are not from only one region, but rather showcase regionality from a variety of terroirs and regions. Leenders is the first range of wines produced by Bezuidenhout Family Wines, doing just that. Grapes are sourced from across the Cape Winelands and wines are made to be true to their origin. All three blends are Southern-Rhône-influenced, with a South African flair.

• Combining meaty Syrah, spicy Mourvèdre, red-berry Carignan and light-hearted Grenache noir, this blend is a true expression of how diverse South African terroir can be.
• A deep and dark blend with spicy and earthy notes from Syrah and Mourvèdre. 
• Red berry fruit and soft tannins from Carignan and Grenache noir.
• This wine is great to drink now, bit will mature gracefully with age.
• Enjoy with various red meat dishes such as beef sirloin.
