About

Kruger Family Reserve is situated in the heart of the Cape Winelands, Devon Valley, Stellenbosch. Owned in partnership by well-known winemaker and entrepreneur, Reino Kruger and Multi-national Company OGH. Kruger Family Heritage dates back to the early 1700s with the arrival of the first settlers to South Africa. The wines are made from the best grapes grown in Stellenbosch Region, matured in small oak barrels for 18–24 months.

• Awards: 4.5 Star Platter, Gold Michelangelo, Double Gold Gilbert & Gaillard.
• Dark plummy hue.
• Liquorice with some white pepper spice and a savoury aroma.
• Fruity with firm tannins adding some weight with red fruit on the finish.
• The wine shows good balance and elegance.
• Aged in French barrels for 16-24 months.
• Pairs well with rack of lamb and other red meat dishes.
