- After malolactic fermentation, the wine was aged in new and second-fill small oak barrels.
- Dark fruit and typical peppery spice with attractive toasty oak notes.
- The 2015 shows the richness of the vintage on the palate, displaying sweet violets and blackberries.
- Well supported by new oak, and offering good intensity of spicy flavours on a lingering finish.
- Excellent enjoyed on its own or served with red meat, venison, casseroles and stews as well as spicy kebabs, roasted pork and wild mushroom dishes.
