About
Eagles Nest began as a commercial farm in the late 1600s, producing export fruit and local vegetables. In 2000, a fire destroyed 95% of the estate and its fynbos vegetation. Choosing to reimagine the farm, we shifted to winemaking and prioritized restoring indigenous flora, planting 25,000 Silver Tree seeds and thousands of other fynbos species. Today, Eagles Nest hosts one of South Africa’s largest Silver Tree plantations.
