About

A 4th generation family business that has been farming in the Elgin Valley for more than 120 years. We are proud to have pioneered Elgin as a premium wine-growing region. Our focus is on producing world-class wines that reflect the uniqueness of our valley, but more specifically of our estate De Rust. We want to achieve this while being mindful of our actions both on the environment and on our community. To this end, we have more than half our estate under conservation. We are closely connected to De Rust Futura school which was founded by our grandmother Gertrude Cluver more than 60 years ago.

• Fermented in a combination of stainless steel tanks, 3rd and 4th fill French oak barrels and a 2600L oak vat.
• The colour is clear and bright. 
• The nose is fresh and clean with expressive flavour characteristics of tropical fruits. 
• These flavours follow through onto the palate and also offer notes of grapefruit, gooseberries, and gives a lovely freshness that lingers after every sip. 
• The ideal wine aperitif but best enjoyed with food - pairs beautifully with sushi and shellfish.
