Compagniesdrift Wines, founded by farm workers in 2015 with experience at top Stellenbosch estates, produces quality wines under the guidance of winemaker Altus Treurnicht. • Grapes are hand-harvested at dawn, capturing the cool freshness of the morning.
• Carefully destemmed and gently crushed to preserve delicate aromatics.
• Juice is immediately pressed, ensuring purity and clarity.
• Cold-settling enhances brightness and lifts subtle fruit notes.
• Fermentation is slow and controlled at ±15°C, allowing full flavor development.
• Racked off the lees to maintain a clean, vibrant profile.
• Matured on fine lees for four months, adding texture and complexity.
• Aroma: Bright red berries with hints of strawberry and watermelon, supported by a crisp acidity. Elegant and delicate with a refined fruit profile.
• Palate: Light and refreshing with vibrant red fruit flavours. Well-balanced, clean and lively, offering a smooth, elegant finish.
