Pinotage 2020

  • This is a new vintage that has not been rated yet.
  • Previous vintage award: Gold Michelangelo.
  • Malolactic fermentation took place in 100% stainless steel tanks. 
  • Total maturation time in barrel was twelve months.
  • Red fruit forward with black and blueberry flavours in the background while the light oaking accentuates flavours of red currants and blueberries. 
  • A velvety palate with well-integrated tannins which are supported by subtle smokiness leading into a lingering juicy finish.
  • Enjoy with red meat dishes.
  • Alcohol by Volume: 13.5%

Cabernet Sauvignon 2021

  • Malolactic fermentation took place in stainless steel tanks. 
  • The wine was then aged for 12-15 months in 15% new and 85% older 225L French oak barrels.
  • Classic characteristics of black fruit layered with herbal notes and oak spice. 
  • A full, yet elegant palate with a beautiful fruit expression. 
  • Silky and smooth tannins with a juicy finish. 
  • Enjoy with lamb chops, smoked brisket or slow-cooked beef short rib.
  • Alcohol by Volume: 14.4%

Merlot 2021

  • This is a new vintage that has not been rated yet.
  • Previous vintage awards: 4 Star Platter.
  • Malolactic fermentation took place in stainless steel tanks and maturation took place in 15% new and 85% older French oak barrels for a total of 12 to 14 months.
  • Notes of red cherry and ripe plum layered with herbal nuances and hints of oak spice on the nose. 
  • A juicy palate with red currants and blueberries give way to lingering dark chocolate flavours. 
  • Well-structured with refined tannins and a lengthy finish.
  • Enjoy with traditional bobotie, or beef stew.
