Six generations of Louws have practiced the art of winemaking at Diemersdal since the Estate passed into their hands in 1885. More than 12 decades later, Diemersdal is a well-known landmark in the lush Durbanville Valley, one of the Cape’s oldest wine regions. Diemersdal forms part of the Wine of Origin Cape Town where cooling mists from the Atlantic Ocean roll over the vineyards every afternoon, contributing to the unique character of Diemersdal wines.

• Nose: Ripe blackberries, black cherries, and plums
• These fruit-forward notes are layered with subtle hints of cedar, spice, and a gentle smokiness, characteristic of its maturation in French oak barrels
• Palate: On the palate, the wine is full-bodied and structured, showcasing concentrated dark fruit flavors
• It carries through with notes of spice, integrated oak, and fine-grained tannins. The finish is long and elegant, reflecting both balance and intensity
• Pairs well with Grilled or roasted red meats, especially lamb or beef
