About
Established in 1777, Welgegund crafts heritage wines from old vines in Wellington’s decomposed granite soils. This wine shows layers of lime, citrus, quince, pear, stone fruit, and elderflower, with creamy tones and refreshing minerality. Sourced from a 1974 dryland vineyard yielding just 2.8 tons per hectare, it offers exceptional concentration and character.
