About

Vineyards have been shown to possess unique fingerprints in centuries gone by. Every block of vines expresses distinctive characteristics, and the finest winemakers know that viniculture starts in the soil.

In 2010 their winemaker began travelling in search of the purest fruit from first-growth appellations across the wine regions of the Western Cape. Every new vintage becomes a quest to find the different components to make up the perfect blend that meets the winemaker’s requirements. The pursuit of excellence began in 2011 when Quest aspired to showcase a premium range of iconic French blends, styles and varieties grown and expressed in South African soils.

Product Features
  • Awards: 95 points Decanter, 95 points (IWC), 92 points Tim Atkins, 90 points IWSC, 90 points Gilbert & Gaillard, Platinum Top 10 South African Wine Index 2023, Gold Veritas
  • Cling peaches, quince, and ripe pears are enfolded in a silken texture from a combination of ageing in oak and amphorae
  • The grapes selected for this style of Chenin Blanc are handpicked in the early morning hours from a single vineyard in the heart of the Breedekloof valley
  • After crushing and de-stemming, the juice is left on the skins for 8 hours. It is then settled followed by the clear juice being racked into new oak barrels and amphora vessels for fermentation
  • The juice is left on the thick lees for 6 months with further maturation on the fine lees for 2 months. Batonage plays a crucial role in the complexity of this wine

Deal with it!

Look, it's okay to complain from time to time. In fact, sometimes letting off steam can be good for you. Sat in traffic for 45 minutes en route to work? Definitely rant about it to your office bestie when you get there. Eggs Benedict cold when the waiter brings them out? Totally send them back.

Some things, though, are not worth complaining about. That bald patch? Wear a hat and get on with it. Getting a little too cold to wear your favourite mini? It's called winter, babes, deal with it.

Loadshedding? Come on, now. At this STAGE, if you don't have a power station like our deal on this one from Elecstor, that's on you. (And Eskom, obvs, but they're not going to buy one for you.)
