These Walker Bay vineyards of Hemel en Aarde Ridge are situated within close proximity to the Atlantic Ocean. The maritime climate being more “temperate” in style, where parallel mountain ranges channel the southerly sea breezes through the appellation during the summer. These winds, in turn, bring regular sea mists and overcast conditions to the valley and with it more even temperatures.

1x Anthelia 2021

• Earlier picking to capture aromatic freshness and later picking for body and weight.
• Matured in French oak (25% new barrels) for 16 months.
• This elegant expression of cool climate Shiraz exhibits soft plum, dark cherry and complex spicy notes of pepper, cinnamon, cloves and crushed coriander.
• The palate is full and lush, broad on entry with rich in dark fruits.

1x Nymphomane 2022

• Award: 4 Star Platter.
• After fermentation, the wine was racked into a selection of French oak barriques (25% new barrels) for 16 months of maturation.
• This wine expresses the typical Cabernet Sauvignon profile of blueberry and mulberry, while the Cabernet Franc shows floral and subtle dried herb characters.
• The Merlot and Malbec bring vibrant red berry and juiciness to the palate.
• The fine-grained tannins and an elegant mineral core will see this wine drinking well on release and developing for at least 5 -7 years. 
• Enjoy this wine with cheese platters, red meat and venison.

• Satyricon is a Latin work of satirical fiction written by Gaius Petroniusin the early days of the Roman Empire.
• This rare example of a Roman novel tells a story of lust, love and temptation through man’s deliberate journey to attain knowledge and wisdom, even if it is at the expense of his cherished innocence.
• This wine shows the bright cherry fruit and savoury spice character typical of Sangiovese.
• The palate is smooth, with hints of floral notes and an almost dusty finish; ideal for pairing with classic Italian dishes like baked aubergine, tomato-based pasta and cured meats.
• Alcohol by Volume: 13.7%
