Guardian Peak is a Stellenbosch-based winery in the Western Cape, South Africa, known for producing accessible, fruit-driven wines that showcase classic Bordeaux and Rhône varietals. The farm works with vineyards spread across the Stellenbosch region and surrounding coastal terroir, where Mediterranean climate conditions and varied soils help build structure, ripeness, and complexity in the wines.

Product Features

• Nose: Plum, mulberry, black cherry, with soft vanilla, toast and subtle herbal spice (sage, liquorice).
• Notes: Soft, medium-bodied and fruit-forward with juicy red and black berries. Silky tannins, gentle oak influence, and a smooth, rounded finish.
• This merlot pairs well with roast chicken, duck, mushroom risotto, pasta with tomato-based sauces, mild cheeses.
