From the world-renowned Helderberg region of Stellenbosch comes an award-winning range of wines named after South African golf legend, Ernie Els, and skillfully crafted by winemaking legend, Louis Strydom. The winery was officially opened in 2005, and since then, the focus has been on producing a range of wines, with a particular focus on Cabernet Sauvignon. Recent renovations have transformed the winery into an iconic symbol of the Helderberg region.

• Aroma: Scents of flint and fire, cassis leaf, cherries, and bramblewood cocooned in luxurious cedar styling and accented with creamy vanilla pod
• Palate: A vibrant South African Cabernet Sauvignon featuring a core of succulent red and black cherries, plums, and redcurrants carved by lemony-fresh tannins. Displays an evolving tannic structure that creates depth and tension, finishing with a cool, mineral acidity that is finely dry and bursting with vitality
• Pairs well with grilled ribeye steak, roasted lamb, braised beef short ribs, or mature hard cheeses
