Vergenoegd Löw The Wine Estate is one of the oldest working farms in South Africa, with land rights granted in 1696. The graceful Cape Dutch homestead dates to 1773 and is a National Monument. For generations we’ve been cultivating the rich soil of our land, creating exceptional wines and nurturing passionate winemakers. We are proud of our heritage, and never stop in our search for new and exciting ways to celebrate it.

Product Features

• A dark-hued red in the glass, damson plums and black berry, fruit are framed by savoury cedar, warm spice and subtle fynbos, undertones. The dry, grippy tannins will soften
• Some liken the chocolatey mouthfeel to a pleasing chalkiness. 
• It’s this quality and a whisper of salinity that mark the Lara as uniquely ours. 
• Pair with big-bodied dishes like roast beef fillet, rack of lamb and charcuterie.
