Muratie Wine Estate is one of South Africa’s oldest farms, founded in 1685 in the Knorhoek Valley beneath the Simonsberg. Each wine is named after a figure from Muratie’s past, celebrating the stories that shaped the farm. • Aroma: Concentrated aromas of blackberries, ripe plums, pencil shavings, bell pepper, and subtle cedar
• Palate: A medium-bodied Cabernet Franc with rich dark fruit flavours, fresh acidity, and finely structured tannins. Notes of cedar and savoury herbs add depth, creating a beautifully balanced and elegant wine with excellent ageing potential
• Pairs well with grilled lamb, roasted pork, pot roast, stuffed peppers, grilled mushrooms, roasted eggplant, spinach dishes, or mature hard cheeses
