About

A 4th-generation family business that has been farming in the Elgin Valley for more than 120 years. We are proud to have pioneered Elgin as a premium wine-growing region. Our focus is on producing world-class wines that reflect the uniqueness of our valley, but more specifically of our estate De Rust. We want to achieve this while being mindful of our actions on both the environment and our community. To this end, we have more than half our estate under conservation. We are closely connected to De Rust Futura school which was founded by our grandmother Gertrude Cluver more than 60 years ago.

Product Features

• Nose: Citrus aspects, ripe orange, and winter melon notes with some light toasted brioche in the background.
• Followed by tangerine fruit and citrus blossom fragrances are apparent, with hints of vanilla pod and a slight salinity on the taste.
• These characteristics follow through onto the palate which reveals a natural, fresh and fine acidity, with a lingering finish.
• Enjoy on its own or with oven-baked line fish with butter, capers, and herbs.
