Cape Wine Company was founded in 2010 by Erlank Erasmus – qualified winemaker – on a quest to share the exceptional wines produced in the Cape Winelands of South Africa – with wine lovers across the world.

Given the rich history of our country, Cape Wine Company is also proud to give back to the communities that assist in producing our wines, from vine to bottle, through participating in the Fairtrade initiative.

This initiative ensures that farm communities in South African wine industry benefit through sustainability and equality.

• Aroma: Dark roasted coffee beans, black cherries, plum, blueberry, and vanilla, with mocha, cocoa, and smoky oak undertones.
• Palate: Ripe blackberries, cherries, and espresso layered with velvety tannins and balanced acidity, finishing with dark chocolate and berry compote.
• Pairs well with: Beef brisket, or dark chocolate desserts.
