About

Lourensford Wine Estate is situated at the foot of the majestic Hottentots Holland Mountains. This property is steeped in history and dates back to the 1700ʼs. Christo Wiese, Cape industrialist and retail magnate purchased this estate in 1998. Dramatic changes were to follow in the next few years. The first plantings of vines began in 2000 and the construction of the unique winery began in 2002. The magnificent soils and diverse micro-climates create the ideal terroir for world-class wines.

Everybody's a Winner.

As the weather turns colder, it's time to dust off the board games, get a fire going, and find out who's the most competitive person in your family.

There are so many great options to choose from:

Monopoly will test your relationships as you see your sweet son become a ruthless property mogul -- whose filial ties mean nothing when you have to pay rent when you land on his Clifton property.

30 Seconds is another beloved board game that tests one's general knowledge and the communication skills of your nearest and dearest. It can get very frustrating when you get paired with Granny, who doesn't know who Ed Sheeran is.

Why not take it back to the Stone Age of gaming with a classic like backgammon? And if that's too difficult, there's always the simple joy of Snakes & Ladders.

Speaking of ladders, check out our deal on ProLadder's 3.5m Multi-Purpose Ladders.
