About

Imbued with a sense of history, the Mueller family has retraced the roots of Buitenverwachting. The farm was lovingly restored to its former glory while extensive planting of the most selected of cultivars was initiated. The result was a maiden grape harvest of 100 tonnes - the first harvest the farm had seen in 30 years. A historic achievement that lived up to its name: Buitenverwachting - "Beyond Expectation".

Product Features

• Nose: Citrus zest, ripe pear, white peach, vanilla, toasted almonds and a hint of brioche.
• Notes: Full-bodied and creamy with layers of lemon citrus, yellow stone fruit, buttery vanilla tones, gentle oak spice and a distinctive mineral freshness. The finish is long, balanced and refreshing.
• Pairing: Excellent with roast chicken, grilled salmon, tuna, pork dishes, creamy pasta, seafood in beurre blanc sauce, river crayfish and soft cheeses.
