Cez by Ernst Gouws & Co is a family-made South African wine range dedicated to expressive, fruit-forward winemaking. Crafted by winemaker Ernst Gouws, the Cez Rhône Red highlights the vibrant terroir of the Swartland through an unwooded, highly approachable style designed for pure drinking pleasure.

Product Features

• Nose: red and black berry fruit (strawberries, raspberries, maybe blackberries), spice (gentle pepper, baking spice, with floral or garrigue-like undertones (wild herbs, thyme and earth)
• Palate is juicy, fruity and friendly, not heavily tannic, but more approachable
• The fruit on the palate echoes the nose, red and black berries, ripe, vibrant
• There is enough structure from acidity and probably some spice to give it interest
• Pairs well with Roast chicken or pork with herbs
