Rietvallei Wine Estate counts among South Africa’s oldest family-owned wine estates and was one of the first wine farms established in the picturesque Robertson Wine Valley. Rietvallei lies in the Klaas Voogds ward, a region with unique soil structures and climatic influences ideal for wine grape cultivation.

Shiraz

• Nose: Expressive berry fruit flavours accompanied by a touch of pepper spice
• Palate: A full-bodied South African Shiraz with pleasant ripe tannins and a smooth, lingering aftertaste

Cabernet Sauvignon

• Nose: Red and black fruit flavours infused with cherry, cassis, and hints of coffee
• Palate: A full-bodied Cabernet Sauvignon with notes of blackcurrant, dark chocolate, and a noticeable toastiness. Balanced with a touch of vanilla and soft, juicy tannins
• Pairs well with rare roast beef, leg of lamb, red meats, or rich pasta dishes
