- Barrel composition: 33% new, second and third fill 225L French oak.
- The nose is loaded with blackcurrant and cassis.
- A very dense wine on the palate.
- It is fresh on the entry with great black fruit concentration on the mid-palate.
- Good length and richness right through to the finish.
- Long and lingering black fruit finish.
- Should improve with aging over a period of 10 years or longer, provided that it is stored under optimum conditions.
