Limoncino Bottega is a “limoncello”, a traditional Italian liqueur, dating back to the end of the nineteenth century. It is produced from an infusion of “Femminello” lemon peel. This cultivar is widespread in Italy and characterized by a peel with a thin grain and high-quality essential oils. This variety of lemon is called “Femminello” because of the fertility of the plant, which flowers all year round. The lemons are grown naturally and picked at the peak of ripeness, washed and peeled by hand, removing the white part (bitter) and only selecting the yellow peel which is rich in essential oils. The lemon peels are infused in alcohol for about 30 days. This allows the extraction of the aromatic and coloring substances. The liquid is then separated from the peel. Finally, sugar and high-quality grappa is added, making this Limoncino unique and unmistakable.
The beloved icon, Tina Turner, definitely wasn't alone when she sang 'I can't stand the rain against my window!' Adele herself was prepared to set fire to it (though she never did tell us how) and even Rihanna refused to go outside without her umbrella-ella-ella.
There are some, though, who love the rain. Those of you who remember the band Garbage will know they were literally only happy when it did rain, and Billie Myers had a thing for kissing it!
Whether you love it or hate it, life's gonna throw some rainy days at you - so best be prepared with our deal on lightweight raincoats from Eva.
