The farm's winemaking roots date back to 1695 where the farm began with only 6000 vines back then and expanded to over 18000 vines by 1719. The Loubser family has been farming for more than 150 years in the area and like their ancestors; have a unique bond with their terroir. Old vines from a heritage site in the agricultural industry.
Tasting notes
Light green colour with green pepper and mineral flavours. Typical characteristics of the Durbanville terroir. This Sauvignon blanc is currently developing very nicely and will reach its full potential in 2020. This wine will pair well with rich, creamy dishes.
