Rietvallei Wine Estate counts among South Africa’s oldest family-owned wine estates and was one of the first wine farms established in the picturesque Robertson Wine Valley. Rietvallei lies in the Klaas Voogds ward, a region with unique soil structures and climatic influences ideal for wine grape cultivation.

  • The wine is intense ruby red coloured and complex, expressing flavours of berry fruit, ground pepper spice and peachy fruit
  • The palate is alive with berry fruit and the peppery, spicy and toasted oak flavours are well- integrated.
  • A full-bodied wine with pleasant ripe tannins and a smooth, lingering aftertaste
  • Malolactic fermentation.
  • Mature for 12 months on 300l oak
  • The Shiraz is from two vineyards planted in 1995 and 2005 respectively.

Dreams are weird

They're like your brain's way of saying: you know what the world really needs? Nonsensical story lines that nobody questions and flying cars.

And even though we know they're absolutely bonkers and possess zero relevance whatsoever, we waste no time telling people all about them.

Anyhoo, last night we had a dream where we featured half off tickets to see the Red Hot Chili Peppers live at the Department of Home Affairs. They weren't even performing. They just worked there. Crazy, huh?
