Sumaridge Estate Wines, proudly owned by the Bellingham Turner family, lies gracefully between two imposing mountain ranges in the Western Cape’s Upper Hemel-en-Aarde Valley - aptly named “Heaven and Earth” - with commanding views stretching to Walker Bay on the Atlantic Ocean. The cool maritime breezes add a touch of magic to our grapes.

This wine has typical aromas leaning more towards opulent spice and luscious black fruit with soft tanins and acid providing a balanced structure.

Product Specifications

In The Cellar

• Combination of wild yeast in large oak vats and with selected yeasts in closed stainless steel red wine fermenters. Post fermentation 5 separate batches taken separately to barrel.
• Individual batches are matured for 10 months, then racked and barrel selection is carried out before being returned to barrel for a further 5 months to amalgamate before assemblage.
