About

Pack of 3 Vitamin A and Zinc (90 caps each)

Vitamin A is a family of compounds that play an important role in vision, bone growth, reproduction, cell division, and cell differentiation. We get vitamin A from a variety of sources. Two of the most common sources are retinol and beta-carotene. It is essential for good health. It can be found in many fruits, vegetables, eggs, whole milk, butter, fortified margarine, meat, and oily saltwater fish. It can also be made synthetically.

There are two most common sources of vitamin A: retinol and beta-carotene.

Retinol is nearly ready for the body to absorb and is found in animal foods such as liver, eggs and fatty fish.

Beta – Carotene is a precursor for Vitamin A. The body has to convert it into retinol. All orange and dark green fresh foods contain beta-carotene.

How it works

The following information is specific to Acne. Although most people associate acne with the stress of teenage years, it can actually erupt at any age.  Up to 8% of those who had clear skin in their youth develop acne as adults.  Fortunately, there are a variety of ways to control outbreaks – no matter how old you are when they occur.

How does acne present itself: Pimples and other skin eruptions are the hallmark of acne, which can be a chronic condition of the face, back, chest, neck shoulders and even other areas of the body. The most common form (Acne vulgaris) encompasses blackheads, white heads and raised red blemishes with semi-solid centres. In severe cases (Cystic acne) clusters of painful, fluid-filled cysts or firm unsightly eruptions appear causing permanent pitting and scarring.  Supplementing with Vitamin A & Zinc can be of assistance in clearing up skin ailments of this kind.

If you were ever wondering...

...what provides the inspiration for these write ups, today's your lucky day. You're about to find out.

99% of the time it's the products. Unsurprising. But also so very corporate and predictable. And we hate that. So once in a while we like to draw our creativity from elsewhere, such as:

If E is the most common letter in the English alphabet, why is it so particular? Surely it should've been shaped like an I, just a single straight line? It seems excessive to have to draw the extra three horizontal lines, when really it could've been avoided.

If you know the answer, as in really truly know, please write to us at EisshapedlikeEbecause@onedayonly.co.za

Otherwise enjoy thinking about that too for the next three or so years.
