Who said Shiraz needs to be tame? This wine carries an exciting fruitiness and spiciness. The pepper and plum aromas mingled with hints of cherries and spice, playfully enchant the palate. Shiraz is a versatile food partner. Delicious with duck and exotic sauces. Terrific with tapas!
In the Vineyard
Grapes are sourced from vineyards in the Piekenierskloof region. These trellised vineyards grown on sandy loam soils where yields are meticulously managed, yielding below 6 tons per hectare.
Harvest

Winemaking
Grapes were picked by hand and cold-soaked for 24 hours. Fermentation was then initiated with selected yeast strains and kep under 26 C. Malolactic fermentation was completed in the tank after which the wine was left to mature for 6 months in American and French oak.
Tasting Notes
A medium to full bodied Shiraz with spicy black pepper notes on the nose complemented by black cherry and plum flavours on the palate.
Food Pairing
This wine also pairs well with red meat such as lamb and venison It also goes well with a meaty pizza.
Seven whole years. You'd expect us to plan ahead, have stuff standing by weeks in advance and never run into deadlines.
But nothing could be further from the truth - although it's mostly unexpected and amazing deals that pop up a day in advance and throw proverbial spanners in equally proverbial works.
So. It's late in the afternoon. We're all keen to go home but we still need to write a blurb for these epic deals before we can kick off our work shoes and commence our couch-and-series time.
