Domaines Ott was founded in 1912 by Marcel Ott, an agricultural engineer from Alsace who dreamed of establishing a great wine estate near the Mediterranean. Today, the wineries are owned and managed by Champagne Louis Roederer and produce some of the world’s most prestigious wines, but particularly rosé wines, made at distinctively different estates in Bandol and Côtes de Provence appellations.
What proud and skilled vintner has never dreamed of providing their wine with the sanctum of an exclusive, unique and instantly recognisable bottle? In 1930, René Ott did exactly that. He, who never stopped loving Provence, its hills and shorelines punctuated by Cypresses and uninterrupted rows of vines, created a bottle with slender curves inspired by the grace of the landscape.
Today, it is still the signature of Domaines Ott* and it evokes the memory of an elegant amphora that kept the wine cool many centuries ago.
Bright garnet robe with deep purple tints. The nose is delightful and elegant, combining notes of red fruits and spices. The blend of Mourvèdre and Grenache reveals fresh notes of blackcurrant, thyme, and peppery spices. The mouth is supple and harmonious, with aromas of red fruits with a slightly menthol undertone.
The soil is composed of limestone, sandstone, and marine Upper Cretaceous marls. The sea air from the Bay of Bandol compensates for the terroir’s acidity and low rainfall.

When you stop and think about it, there's really very little in the average day that makes it stand out as memorable.
Here's an example: what was the highlight of your day three days ago? Unless the timing works out perfectly and you just got hitched, chances are it's not that easy to remember.
But that's the way it has to be. By definition if everything was epic, nothing would be epic.
Except for us. We're special. Because we bet you remember everything you've ever bought from us and if you don't, please feel free to refresh your memory with today's latest deals.
