- Awards: Platter's Winery of the Year 2021, Mundus Vini International Wine Awards 2021 - Best South African producer. No awards yet on this specific vintage, but the previous vintage was awarded a 4.5 Star rating by Platter guide and a gold medal at Mundus Vini International.
- Initially showing quite a robust nose with lots of ripe dark berry fruits giving way to notes of cedar wood and spice.
- A dense palate that is packed with ripe fruit gives one the idea to expect a burly heavy wine, however, the fine-grained tannins and lively acidity ensure a very elegant palate that dances for a long lingering finish.
- A fantastic accompaniment to most meat dishes.
